While Iranian women are getting killed in the street, Joe Biden is still trying to make a deal with the Iranian regime. Which is demeaning to the US, as Iran’s leadership has nothing but contempt for us. After Obama’s ‘pallets of cash’ deal they see the Biden/Obama crew as a soft touch, easily coerced by the threat of nuclear weapons.
Just see what Iran’s supreme leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei said about the nationwide protests triggered by the death of 22-year-old Mahsa Amini who died after a beating by Iran’s vile ‘modesty’ police.
The Ayatollah blamed it on the US, saying he was “deeply heartbroken” by her death while blaming America for the riots themselves.
“This rioting was planned,” Khamenei said while speaking with police students in Tehran. “These riots and insecurities were designed by America and the Zionist regime, and their employees.”
Biden said he was “gravely concerned” about reports of the “intensifying violent crackdown on peaceful protesters”. But he has stopped short of actually doing anything for fear of upsetting Iran.
While blaming the US for the straw that broke the camel’s back, Iran’s decency police are beating and killing women who dare to remove their hijab, or headscarf.

Protests following the death of Mahsa Amini have been widespread. The authorities have shut down universities to all but doctorate students and are attempting to silence this protest movement for women’s rights. Women have taken to the streets and in schools young girls are protesting by revealing their hair. The Internet Age has led to protest songs and an amazing variety of digital art to support the movement.

The digital protest art being created in Iran–much of it anonymously–has been absolutely brilliant. pic.twitter.com/Q1MCJAhYxg
